Do You Use Canadian Coupons?

Estimated reading time: 4 minutes

Canadian coupons and apps save money for people who don’t want to pay full price.

Over the years, I’ve learned much about couponing and its importance in managing a grocery budget.

Although budget savings come from more than just coupons, today, let’s explore how they impact your grocery budget.

Canadian Coupons Basics
Basic Information About How Canadian Coupons Can Save Your Money.

Canadian Coupons Are A Savings Life-Line

Two things in life are definite “Taxes” and “Death.”

Creeping the list is “Debt, ” a reality for most Canadians.

It doesn’t matter what your neighbor has; it matters what you have!

How can we dig ourselves out of this mess we created?

Yes, we all did it; we purchased items with money we didn’t have.

Now we need to clean it up.

One way to help the cleanup is by using coupons to save Money. I never thought I would say this.

Coupons...Really?

What man uses coupons? Not this one, no way!

That’s what I thought a few years back. Now it’s a no-brainer.

Canadian Coupons Can Save You Money

Yes, couponing can and will help you save money, but it’s just one step in controlling debt.

You can put the extra money you save from couponing towards your debt or investments.

Some people use coupons to put food on the table, but money is saved at the end of the day.

Coupons have been used for many generations.

I remember my granny clipping coupons when I was a young boy.

Of course, I had no idea about coupons when I was a kid, but slowly they were introduced to me by my mum.

Canada has more coupons than we do in the UK, which means greater savings.

Who knew 30 years later, consumers worldwide still clip coupons to save a buck?

Collecting Canadian Coupons

If you walk through the mall and see a $5 bill on the ground, will you step on it?

Probably not, but why is it so difficult for Canadians to see a coupon like that $5.00 bill?

Maybe it’s because…

  • Money is Money, and coupons are coupons.
  • Granny used them; I’m not going to.
  • I don’t have the time.
  • You don’t save that much money; who cares.
  • People will think I’m poor if I use them.
  • I have more money than I can shake a stick, so I’m not using them.

You might think this, but you will still bend over to pick up that $5.00 bill.

Those who can see that the value of a coupon is equal to its value in cash are the ones cashing in on this lucrative empire.

You don’t need to be an extreme couponer to put a dent in the budget.

All you need to do is use the coupons the manufacturer gives you.

Look at it from this perspective: They are paying you Money to buy their product.

How cool is that?

Match that with a great sale, and you have a deal and Money saved in your budget.

Missing Freebies With Coupons

Here’s a classic example:

A few weeks back at Wal-Mart, the POM Wonderful I had a beautiful display of pomegranates.

The eagle eye that I am, I see dollar signs causing a smoke screen above, but does anyone else?

Are you kidding me?

Why are we not seeing these deals in Canada?

I watched four people pick up the gorgeous fruit for $1.00 when there was a $1.00 coupon.

This would have made the fruit FREE!!!

Who says you can’t get free fresh fruit, eh?

Simple Savings, including finding free stuff at the grocery store, means keeping your eyes and ears open.
