Another rainy week continues but the blog is still full of life bringing you the best of the best from around the web in Personal Finance and More. Halloween was my third now in our home and carving the pumpkin seems to be getting easier for me. I was rubbish the first year and would be ashamed to show anyone what I made of the pumpkin. I will post a picture tomorrow when I post The Saturday Review and you can be the judge for my 2012 creation.
This week I must say I’ve done a great job reading the amount of blog posts that I wanted to read including commenting on them. Some days are better than others but I enjoy keeping up with my favourite blogs and writers.

Wow, it seems like this list keeps growing and growing! How do you get around to reading so many blogs every week??
I read at work, on my breaks, in the morning at breakfast, with my tea, at night before bed.. whenever I can really. I try to comment on as many as I can a day but I get more reading in then commenting but I try to keep up. I don’t beat myself up if I can’t do it all, life’s not a race. Cheers Jason!!! P.S the list will start to get smaller to those I interact with the most..

Thanks for the mention, now I’ve gotta check out all those other bloggers’ recipes!
Thank you so much for the shout out and I am very excited to go try Square Pennies Cranberry Fig Pistachio Chutney! Looks delish
Happy Saturday!
Yes, me too one year when my fig tree gives me more figs.. lol. not sure if I can find any around here right now. Sounds good though. Cheers Karen! Mr.CBB
We didn’t get that many figs from our fig trees this year either
We only have 1 tree so hopefully next year we will get plenty. It had about 4 on it this year but not to eat. We basically got it as a stick and planted it from there. Shocking how well it did, but now it’s indoors for the winter.
Thanks for the link to my Applesauce Spice Cake.
Great links this week. I’ve got my reading for the evening.
Thank you for the mention. I’m glad in these down times when I’m not pouring all my energy and focus into my blog that I have friends like you who keep it going for me!
You’re welcome my dear. It’s like that old saying.. you rub my back and I’ll rub yours… lol.. The blog is alot of work, the more the year has went on and the busier it gets. One thing is for sure.. I’ll always remember the people who are new and help them like they help me. There’s nothing more that get’s my gears grinding (femme frugality) lol.. is when sites get big and think their caca don’t stink and they are much too big or too good to hang with the smaller peeps.. keep on smilin darlin, we can all feel your energy. Mr.CBB
I followed you on FB before, but I deleted my account after they started posting old private messages on people’s walls. I’d be excited about the new Follow Fridays, otherwise, though!
Thank you so much for the mentions! Hope the skies clear up soon!
Yep, I remember. I can’t say i’ve had any of those problems but if you ever come back you know where my FB house is! Cheers darlin.. Mr.CBB or you can hook up on my personal page if you like…
Thanks for the mention and thanks again for the guest post opportunity
Those cookies look so yummy, my favorite! Chocolate chips are outrageously expensive, I do a lot of baking and they’ve gone up quite a bit in the last few years. I’m asking for a costco size bag of chocolate chips for Christmas…the gift that keeps on giving!
We bought a boat load of chipits at the dollar store but used them all for baking. You know we found Bakers Chocolate squares at Dollarama for $2 last week which is an amazing price. Chipis can get so pricey though. The Cowboy quickies are awesome but those butterscotch chipits make the flavour pop. Cheers and thanks for being part of the CBB family!! Mr.CBB
Wow…where do you find the time for all those links? Ah, it doesn’t matter, as long as mine is there
Thanks again for the support and have a great weekend.
Mark
Hey Mark, I work on it as I go along. Normally the posts I comment on make the list. Those are the one’s I was able to click with and I think my fans will as well. Cheers Mark. Mr.CBB

Thank you for the mention, Mr. CBB. Ooh, perfect timing to snuggle up for a moment with this post. Just plunged a fresh pot of coffee in the french press. Just need to add a dabble of cream and I’m ready to settle in for some reading.
Thanks darling.. enjoy your weekend… coffee sounds real good about now.
Thanks for the mentions Mr. CBB! Can I say that those cookies look mighty good. I might have to ask my wife to make some now.
Pumpkin crving is easy, but does take a few times to get it down. I, personally, can’t stand it…so my wife get’s the pleasure. Have a great weekend!
