Mr.CBB’s Saturday Weekend Review
I didn’t get myself into any trouble this week although I haven’t made my way in to the kitchen for my Christmas Baking Marathon yet. The fun will all start today when we start baking 1 of 4 easy Christmas cookie recipes and I will share them every Sunday on the Blog in December. I suppose since the snow has decided to make its way to Ontario it’s time to swap vehicles. This always takes a day or so for me to sort out with insurance, e-test and getting a new sticker. Money, Money, Money everyone wants money. Pain in the ass if you ask me but hey I’m just a newbie! Time to put away my love machine for another season and take out the winter tank destroyer. Do you store your vehicle for the winter and bring out a winter beater?
What’s Been Happening at Canadian Budget Binder
Well, what hasn’t been happening.
I’ve been guest posting all over the shop so if you start seeing posts I wrote for some awesome blogs go ahead and give them a read. It’s not often I write so many in one month but November took me by storm. Some posts you have yet to see but will be coming out shortly for some amazing blogs and websites.
I do enjoy writing for other blogs and chatting to their fans. It brings a whole new meaning to learning what other Bloggers do and how their fans interact with their site. Many of my fans enjoy heading out to other sites I mention or link up to and some even wait until I post my weekly blog post list so they can run through them.
On a great note we can now deposit up to $5500 a year in our TFSA starting Jan 2013 up from $5000 thanks to the new rule change earlier this week as noted by the Department of Finance. I’m thrilled in one sense as I know we will eventually have the money once this house is actually paid (more on that later). I have a bit of catching up to do with my TFSA but aim to get that up to speed as soon as I can. Since moving to Canada trying to make heads and tails of a new country and all it has to offer has overwhelmed me but since blogging and travelling around Ontario it has made life that much easier.

Thanks for the mention Mr. CBB!
I’m happy to see the TFSA go up to $5500 as well – although we still don’t max out our current $5000 allocation. Can’t wait to see the results of the baking marathon!
We don’t max ours out yet but once this house is paid, which it will be soon we hope that’s where our focus will go and other endeavours. Mr.CBB

Glad you’re working with Andrea! She does great work!
You made a good choice. Andrea’s sites are the coolest by far and I hope I can get her to do one for me if I get big enough some day. We only use our truck for winter driving and towing and have an old Civic for commuting when the weather is good. When I was very pregnant, I was a the grocery and had to pee, but thought I could make it, until I had to sneeze and totally wet my pants, so I guess there is a use for maternity diapers, although you already feel like a whale, so not sure I could stand a diaper as well. Have a good weekend.

Black diamond cheese casserole recipe? That sounds freaking amazing! lol, love the search terms
We only have the truck so I drive it year round, but we have a friend that use to like his MG’s, luckily he lives around St Catharines so he can usually get away with driving it year round in the banana belt. At least it used to be like that…. not sure what he drives these days….We keep the truck in as good a condition as we can manage to keep it on the road as long as we can…. Enjoy your baking tomorrow, I made my sister-in-law’s brownies tonight. She got the recipe from the Company’s Coming cookbook for squares, page 134. I have the book too….lol… Maternity diapers…… think I’ll let that one ride too……might be better that way….
We baked tonight the first batch is done.. and the recipe will be on the blog tomorrow! How did your brownies turn out? I likey brownies.. ha! Yes.. that Maternity Diapers just had me scratching my head lol.. cheers Christine!! Have a lovely evening! Mr.CBB
