Ingredients
  • ⅚ pints of cherry tomatoes I used 1 pint of heirloom tomatoes also (cut in half)
  • 3 reg sized vine tomatoes
  • 2 green chopped peppers
  • 2 red chopped peppers
  • 1 yellow chopped pepper
  • 1 orange chopped pepper
  • 1 Spanish onion minced
  • 2 pints of whole button mushrooms
  • 1 can or fresh red kidney beans (use juices)
  • 1 cup of chopped celery
  • 1 jalapeno pepper minced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 packages of ground turkey 2lbs or so.
  • ¾ c chili powder
  • ¾ c of cumin
  • ¼ c dried cilantro
  • 2 tbsps of onion flakes
  • 2 tbsps of onion powder
  • 2 tbsps garlic powder
  • 1 tbsps crushed pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsps thyme
  • 2 tbsps Italian spices
  • 2 tbsps oregano
  • 1 tbsps of basil
  • 1 tbsps of parsley
  • 2 small cans of tomato paste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. In food processor core and add the 3 tomatoes, throw in jalapeno, onion and garlic mix together.
  2. Simmer cherry tomato halves first until juices appear, add all veggies, and kidney beans, brown turkey and add to the pot.
  3. Add tomato paste
  4. Mix spices in small bowl and slowly add to chili. Taste as you go so you don't over use the spices. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Simmer until cooked I cook mine until the vegetables still have a slight crunch. Up to 1 hr.
