You mentioned that Mrs CBB is following low carb program. we are looking into doing that again so I am interested how you plan meals to minimize leftovers which in our house go to the fridge to die. I have the saving dinner low carb cookbook but it seems like every day is a brand new recipe. I want to minimize prep and cook once for several days but just eating the same meal two days in a row won’t work. Any suggestions?

    • Mrs. CBB pretty much eats the same types of food products every week. She is the only one that eats it unless it’s soup as I will eat it too. I’ve tried all of her food that we’ve created and although I don’t care for some of it she loves it. I’m sure the reason is because I use sugar and she doesn’t. She has adapted well to Low-carb over the past year.
      What meals are you currently making?
      A pot of soup will last us a few days.
      I can do a post on her menu plan for the week if that helps? Maybe I’ll see if she can add to the post although I’m sure it will end up being me interviewing her which is fine.
      If you have any specific questions besides the meal plan let me know and I’ll ask to see what she says. In one year of low-carb high fat she’s lost over 50lbs so far and she weighs less than when she got pregnant. She loves it and feels great. I think this year she will incorporate running and working out again.
