THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY SIDE TO OUR BLOGGING JOURNEY   I’m not sure if magical is the term I’d like to describe 2017 for Canadian Budget Binder like it was in 2015-2016 but I will say it was challenging and we conquered it. We may not have reached all of our blogging, personal and financial goals but there was no way in hell we were going to give up, and we didn’t. There is no good, bad or ugly to CBB rather we tend to view it as opportunity to do better, learn from our mistakes and take on new challenges. SORTING OUT OUR FINANCIAL AFFAIRS TAKES MORE THAN SIMPLE MATH   For the first time in her life Mrs. CBB bought a brand new cell phone but it took her 20 years to make the decision to do so. Financial sacrifice has been a huge part of both of our lives from the time we were young and even today now that we have our mortgage paid off, $200,000 in the bank and almost all of our investments topped up. It’s not much really considering we could have done better saving using a budget earlier on in our lives. But to someone else that’s a success they dream about. Let me tell you something, it wasn’t easy and it won’t be easy for you.
