I’ve never quite seen so many of my colleagues go mad for eating a finger before but I guess it’s an inside joke considering the line of work we are in. One of our most popular Halloween recipes on the blog are Spooky Witches Fingers which are super easy to make and inexpensive. They taste very similar to a buttery shortbread cookie with a hint of almond flavour. Delicious for dunking too. With Halloween days away we are planning on baking some Halloween treats for the kids in our neighbourhood who come by the house-and the adults too of course. IT’S HALLOWEEN PARTY TIME FOR THE KIDS AND I’VE GOT A PLATTER OF BAT-FILLED SPOOKY RICE KRISPIES TREATS.   Three cheers for Spooky Halloween Oreo Rice Krispies Treats! You can see the scary bats in between the layers of marshmallows and cereal… I can! Tasty little buggers they are and I’m sure the kids will agree. Halloween is tomorrow but the last-minute party invites were coming in from parents as if they forgot they were hosting a party. No problem but when we go to a party we like to bring something along with us. My wife who is not a fan of baking asked me to make something child-friendly that was easy to eat for the Halloween party this weekend that I won’t be attending.
