Husband is hoarding money and jeopardizing relationship

DEBT SCARES MAN TO THE BANK   Believe it or not there are people who have money hoarding tendencies because a fear of living without cash can push people over the edge. Just because someone is in debt doesn’t mean they are OK with it even though some people think that having consumer debt is normal. Some people get very ill thinking about their debt and it can cause great stress in their life mostly affecting their health, job and relationships/family. What else could money possibly affect? It’s hard to find a middle ground sometimes when money becomes the reason for living. Lured into a false sense of ownership   The amount of possessions you own can actually hinder your freedom. In fact, we have been lured into a false sense of ownership. Your possessions may actually be in charge of you! With credit cards and financing options in abundance, our purchasing power often seems unlimited. Having 0% interest rates make it easy for us to buy desired items and avoid paying interest on them. This better than paying large amounts of interest on purchases, but it is still a dangerous game to play.   Most parents-to-be struggle with the thought of living on a lowered income or some put off having a baby altogether for fear they can’t afford a child. I survived two pregnancies and two maternity leaves and made it through the after baby financial changes to our net income. I also have to mention that my marriage survived as well.
