One Pot Spanish Chicken

If you are a lover of chicken wings or just chicken you will enjoy the spices that permeate the meat like we've done today.
Recipe type: Main Dish
Serves: 8
  • 8-10 chicken wings or thighs or entire chicken
  • 3 tablespoons Worcester sauce
  • 3 cups Arborio rice
  • 3 cups pasta sauce (any brand)
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons paprika to rub onto chicken
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 cup herbs
  1. Rub paprika all over the chicken until coated evenly.
  2. Place olive oil in the pan and wait until hot then add chicken.
  3. Once chicken has browned on each side add garlic
  4. Now add the rice and mix lightly with the chicken, then add the pasta sauce and chicken stock.
  5. Cover and turn down the heat to a simmer for an hour.
  6. Occasionally you will have to go and stir to ensure rice doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.
  7. If you find the rice has absorbed all the liquid, and it is still hard just add a little more water.
  8. Just before serving mix in the herbs.
