Making Cinnamon French Toast with Mango slices is so easy and fast that you can easily whip it up when you want something sweet for breakfast or any other meal of the day.

  • 6 thick slices of whole wheat or your choice of bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup of 2% milk
  • ¼ cubed butter for frying (you may need less or more)
  • 1 ripe large mango
  • Maple Syrup
  1. In a large wide bowl crack the eggs and mix with a fork then add in the milk, cinnamon, vanilla and salt
  2. Put 2 pieces of bread at a time in the egg mixture and let it soak up for about a minute or two
  3. Get the griddle hot to about 200 degrees or your pan at 7 on the dial.
  4. Add a tablespoon or 2 of butter to the pan and melt it
  5. Add in your 2 pieces of bread and let it become golden before flipping it to the other side. Add more butter if your griddle is dry or you won't get that golden look and lovely texture.
  6. Once off the griddle add maple syrup and your mango slices then serve.
