Easy Creamy Roasted Garlic Hummus
Roasted Garlic Hummus is the perfect dip for any party or if you want something quick to make at home to go with your favourite snacks and sandwiches.

Serves: 3 cups
  • 1.5 cups of dry chickpeas (hydrate 4 hours in a crockpot or 1 hr instant pot) or 1 large can of chickpeas (2 cups)
  • ¼ liquid from boiling the chickpeas or from the can
  • 3-5 tablespoons of Real lemon juice (the good stuff) or the juice of 1 fresh lemon (the best) -Depends on taste and how much lemon flavour you prefer here.
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 full bulb of roasted garlic (medium to large bulb) If you want a pungent hummus add an extra 4-6 cloves of reg garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of Tahini paste
  • ¼ cup of extra virgin olive oil
  1. In a food processor or blender add your chickpeas, and reserved water and blend
  2. Add in the Tahini paste, roasted garlic, salt, pepper, and a lemon juice and while you are blending stream in the extra virgin olive oil from the top
  3. Blend until creamy
  4. Add lemon and salt until your desired taste is achieved
