SNUGGLE UP TO THESE CHAI SPICED PEAR SCONES WITH A CUP OF HOT TEA   Chai spices scream winter and combined with pears you’ve got yourself a winning combination which is what inspired these gorgeous Chai Spice Pear Scones topped with toasted almonds. I decided to keep these Chai spiced pear scones plain and simple without any other added sugary glaze or icing on top of them. I didn’t want to turn them into a cake type dessert so going with simple pears scones was the direction I took especially since I’ve cut back on my sugar intake the past two years. These pear scones are wonderful when you want to relax with a hot cup of tea and enjoy a snack or I’ve even toasted them in the morning then topped them with butter.
