I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT   Every now and then I hear someone say they want to start a new diet plan so they can shed a few pounds. We’ve all been there and some say it more often than others. This time around it’s my wife and she’s on a mission to lose weight and get back her pre-baby body. She just woke up one morning and said, “Enough is enough, let’s get this diet plan going”.  And, so it begins. I know some people aren’t a fan of the word ‘diet’ but I don’t view it as a jail sentence like some people do. I believe the word diet encompasses our overall health and wellness. Just recently we’ve talked about 2 different diet plans on the blog, The Paleo Diet Plan and The Raw Food Diet Plan both of which are filled with good healthy food. A diet is filled with products that we as humans consume and they are either good for us or not. It’s about living longer and not just about living in the moment.
