SELL DUST FOR CASH WITH SOME GOOD OLD-FASHIONED SPRING CLEANING   Don’t wait around for your pot of gold because the only way to fill your pot with cash is to get out there and make it yourself. Let the green of St. Patrick’s Day today inspire you to start spring cleaning your home for some green of your own. Many people go chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow not realizing they have a pot right under their nose, at home. It’s time to clean up the cash you having lying around the house and put it back where it belongs, in the bank. A deep spring cleaning includes more than just wiping walls, cleaning cupboards, windows and the outside of your home. One of the most dreaded chores but most rewarding is a thorough spring clean-up that uncovers ‘stuff’ you haven’t used in months or even years but has worth to it. If you put it for sale online you’d likely find a buyer and recoup some of the money you spend buying the product. It’s amazing how many people tell me they are broke yet they have loads of stuff around their house […]

Spring Cleaning Parents Team Up Early To Save Avoidable Home Repairs : The Saturday Weekend Review #167

DON’T PUT OFF WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY FOR TOMORROW   Spring cleaning is a must for our family and something the wife and I have done every year since we bought our house back in 2009. Cleaning the house inside and out after a harsh winter is not appealing but many of us have had all winter to wind up the motor for these Spring cleaning chores. In 2009 we were dual-income homeowners without a child and we pretty much had all the spare time in the world to keep our home pristine looking. Most times people would compliment us on how tidy and clean our house was and thought it looked magazine ready. He contributes to 99% of the disaster around this house and thinks it’s hilarious. We do too in a parenting kind of way, lol. As a husband and father who works 6 days a week at 2 jobs and blogs I have a pretty tight schedule to fill these days. What […]

Should your husband help with household chores? : PF Weekly grab a brew #71

CLEANING ISN’T JUST FOR THE LADIES   I’ve done household chores for as long as I can remember and it’s really not that big of a deal. Some people loathe cleaning but I would prefer to have a clean environment rather than having to deal with creatures, dust and who knows what else. Note… I’m not talking just messy because when kids are involved messy is part of life even though growing up we still were responsible for cleaning up our toys when we were old enough to understand. If you read my blog you know I bought my first house from a young age and I kept my investment spotless. Not only did I make sure to maintain the property I bought I made sure it was kept neat and tidy. I was a single guy at the time so if I didn’t clean no one else was going to do the household chores for me. Sure, I could have hired a maid but why pay for something that is so easy to do. I find that if you were told to do housework from a young age and your parents taught you to keep your space clean you […]
