Whether you are keto or not, this is one of those breakfast ideas with eggs that the entire family will love. How do I know?

Well, our son gobbled it up, and I had seconds, and we’re far from low-carb eaters.

What can I eat for breakfast on keto?

Coming up with low-carb breakfast food ideas can be challenging but not impossible, especially when you are open to new ways of enjoying your favorite foods.

We first thought of this idea because we had made a keto egg bake, an omelet in a pan baked in the oven.

Why were we flipping pancakes and not doing the same thing as we were with our savory egg bakes?

That is precisely why we created this fluffy pancake keto egg bake. Ta-Da!

What Is A Pancake Keto Egg Bake?

These cream cheese pancakes are made in a pan and taste like pancakes or even French toast but are gluten-free.

Having a picky eater for a son and watching him eat these melted our hearts because we struggle so much with making food that he will love.

A keto egg bake is a fluffy version of a giant cake, almost angel food cake-like, that is super light and tastes delicious with syrup on top.

If you can imagine eating gluten-free cake for breakfast, you must try this keto egg bake.

All this keto egg bake turns out to be a giant fluffy pancake in a pan made of only five ingredients:

  • eggs
  • cream cheese
  • almond flour
  • butter
  • baking powder

The baking powder that we stand by and have used for over two years is called the Purest Natural baking powder.

The baking powder is aluminum and gluten-free, priced under $6 a bag.

Not only are you one blender away from this delicious pancake keto egg bake, but it’s easier to make than pouring, waiting, and flipping keto pancakes.

Now, you can dance while baking in the oven without worrying whether it will flip in one piece.

I was always rubbish with that part of pancake making, although I’ve improved with practice over the years.

We may never go back to making them again, nor bother with traditional pancakes as these surpassed our expectations as a delicious alternative.

Sugar-Free Pancake Maple Syrup

You can enjoy the pancake keto egg bake cold once you cut it into eight slices or warm it up in the microwave oven before adding your topping.

We have used sugar-free maple syrup from Walden Farms, but Steeves sugar-free maple syrup is our favorite.

Some people like to fry it up in a bit of butter to toast it like a keto French toast, which we’ve done, but I feel it’s just as delicious straight from the oven.

If you decide not to add sweetener, cinnamon, or extracts to the keto egg bake, you could use the slices to fry a keto-grilled cheese.

Start by adding cheese in the middle of two slices of butter to the pan. Fry up as you would a regular grilled cheese.

Are There Carbs In Eggs?

YES!

There are 0.4 g carbs in large-sized eggs, which are also a great source of protein and a main staple in the ketogenic diet.

The keto egg bake is very popular with those trying to work through a weight-loss stall and opt for a keto egg fast, which can be a few days to a week or longer of eating just eggs as protein.

Kick-start your day after intermittent fasting with my pancake keto egg bake as a nutritious way to get back into dropping inches or because you love pancakes.

Most people intermittently fast for about 16 hours a day and have an eating window, so pre-made keto food is a great way to stay on track.

Enjoy your day with this keto breakfast recipe.
